I am in Connecticut this weekend for the wedding of one of my dear friends. CT is far from Atlanta, far from my little guy, far from my amazing husband, far from my cozy bed, far from my pile of papers waiting to filed, far from my data begging to be submitted, far from my unwritten lesson plans and far from mile long to do list. :)
I decided to bring two books with me on the trip because I usually have a preschooler with me and can't read on the plane! Glad I did because someone else's preschooler was driving me nuts in the seat in front of me. :) The first is Ungifted by Gorman Korman. My media specialist thought I would like it and I did.
I would load the picture, but I'm in the lobby of Hyatt and my tech capabilities are limited. Here is the link though! http://www.amazon.com/dp/006174266X
The other is The Giver by Lois Lowry. I'm trying to like it, I really am.....not much luck though. I am going to finish it. I'm going to finish it. I really am. I AM going to finish this book!
Happy weekend!
