Day At Sea~With Preschooler

Day 2 of a 5 day blog fest all about our Carnival Cruise! This is not a review or anything official~just wanted to share our week cruising with a preschooler!

Spending the day at sea had both N and I a little nervous. Would there be enough to occupy our 4 year old and not stress us out?  I mean, this trip is for all of us, ya know. :)
T woke us up nice and early (shocking) and wanted to go straight to the pool. Instead, he and I headed to breakfast and N hit the gym. (He gives the gym two thumbs up by the way.) We met a super nice couple at breakfast. They were on their 12th cruise and the wife was celebrating surviving brain cancer. They were awesome. I love how people come into your life, if only for a minute, and inspire you so much.

Pool and waterslide were next on the agenda! Followed by a nap (*loved it,) touring the ship, and room service lunch. We highly recommend the BLT and PB&J. :) While relaxing, T asked me for a pen. He said he wanted to write about the ship and the slide. Um, please picture my face! He wrote and drew pictures all about the slide and all the balconies on the ship. Made.my.whole.trip. So then I pulled out my journal and this little trip diary was born. Thanks T!

But what now? Ah! We dressed for dinner and decided to tour the ship. We found the candy shop (T was beyond excited,) game room, picture area, and coffee shop (I was beyond excited!) We saw the casino and listened to some live singing, too!

We then asked if the evening show was T appropriate and they said yes, so we went! DIVAS was fun! T loved it! The group performed hit songs from famous female performers like Beyonce, Pink, and Madonna. The costumes and music were fun. We danced  and sang, and headed to dinner.

Our company was great and so was dinner! We ended the evening with a moonlight walk on the deck. After all, Day 3 is Atlantis and we needed to prepared for that!

We cruised to the Bahamas. If you could cruise anywhere, where would you go? Me....Mediteranean!
