My daughter is ...I totally get what you are saying. My daughter is 3 years old and I am not crafting her to be a Kindergarten or First Grade student. We read books every day and sing alphabet songs and when she wants to write a card or letter I encourage her to write (scribble) to the best of her ability and if she asks for help I help her... I want her to love learning and want to learn. When she enters Kindergarten I will practice what she is doing in school and work hard on her phonics and reading... but for now, I want learning to be fun and I want my little one to want to learn and enjoy learning.... so it's about having fun and incorporating learning into all that we do without it being a chore or demanding her to practice!

Stephanie
MaMa Goose’s KindergartenStephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04793840141910602020noreply@blogger.com
